Assembly & Reinforcement

The sword has been designed to use threaded rods for additional strength.

Required Threaded Rods

Use:

• 1 × 6mm threaded rod (270mm long)

• Runs from the pommel into the blade

• 2 × 4mm threaded rods (715mm long)

• Run through the blade for reinforcement

Crossguard Information

The crossguard requires mirroring before printing:

• 🔄 Mirror the crossguard part in your slicer
  or
• 🖨️ Print the supplied part twice

Blade Versions

To suit different printer sizes, the blade is included in two formats:

• 🗡️ 3-part blade version
• 🗡️ 4-part blade version

Choose the version that best fits your printer's build volume.

Print Recommendations

Support requirements:

• Only the crossguards require support material
• Recommended support angle:
• 60 degrees from the build plate

This should provide a clean print while reducing unnecessary supports.
